What This Tool Does

This is a 10-band graphic equalizer for audio files — the same kind of EQ you know from music players, but it renders a new file you can download. Drop a track, pick a preset or shape the bands yourself, listen live, and save as MP3 or WAV.

Everything runs in your browser: no upload, no queue, no account.

Presets or Hands-On

The preset row covers the classics — Rock, Pop, Dance, Club, Full Bass, Full Treble, Large Hall, Live, Party, Reggae, and more. Every preset is just a starting curve: move any slider afterwards and it becomes your own Custom setting.

RangeBandsWhat it shapes
Bass60–310 HzPunch, warmth, boom
Mids600 Hz–3 kHzVoice, presence
Treble6–16 kHzClarity, air
Tip: Cutting often works better than boosting: if a track sounds muffled, try lowering the bass bands before raising the treble ones — you'll keep more headroom and avoid clipping.

Live EQ, Exact Export

Press Play and adjust while listening — sliders and presets take effect instantly, without interrupting playback. The export applies the identical band settings to the file, so the saved audio matches what you tuned by ear.

Your Audio Never Leaves Your Device

The browser decodes the audio; a small WebAssembly build of LAME encodes the MP3 on your machine. Close the tab and nothing remains.

Frequently asked questions

Is this online equalizer free?
Yes — no sign-up, no watermark, no limits. It runs entirely in your browser, so there's nothing to pay for.
Does my music get uploaded?
No. Decoding, the EQ preview, and the final encode all happen locally through the Web Audio API. Your file never leaves your device.
What do the 10 sliders control?
Each slider boosts or cuts one frequency band, from 60 Hz (deep bass) up to 16 kHz (air and sparkle), by up to ±12 dB. Low bands shape bass, middle bands shape voice, high bands shape brightness.
Which presets are included?
The classic set: Rock, Pop, Dance, Club, Full Bass, Full Treble, Large Hall, Live, Party, Reggae, and more. Pick one, then fine-tune any slider — it becomes your Custom curve.
Can I hear the EQ while the music plays?
Yes — that's the point. Press Play and drag sliders or switch presets; the sound updates instantly without stopping.
How do I boost the bass without muddying the sound?
Raise the 60–170 Hz bands moderately (4–8 dB) and slightly cut 310–600 Hz. The Full Bass preset is a good starting point — soften it if it booms.
Which formats can I load and save?
Load MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, or FLAC. Save as MP3 (high-quality VBR) or uncompressed WAV.
Can I combine EQ with trimming or volume?
Yes — the same editor has Trim and Volume tabs, and every active effect is applied together in one export.
